Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited activities when using Superpower Resume ("the Service"). This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Honest and Accurate Content

Superpower Resume helps you present your real experience in the best possible way. You must not use the Service to:

  • Fabricate work experience, education, certifications, or qualifications you do not have
  • Create resumes or cover letters for someone else without their knowledge and consent
  • Misrepresent your identity, skills, or professional background
  • Generate documents intended to deceive employers, recruiters, or other parties

While our AI helps optimize and articulate your experience, you are responsible for ensuring all content accurately reflects your actual qualifications.

2. AI System Integrity

You must not attempt to:

  • Inject, embed, or hide instructions in job descriptions, documents, or inputs designed to manipulate our AI systems (prompt injection)
  • Override, bypass, or alter the behavior of our AI models through adversarial inputs
  • Extract system prompts, training data, or internal configurations from our AI systems
  • Use the Service to generate content unrelated to career development (e.g., using resume generation to produce other types of text)

3. System and Infrastructure

You must not:

  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service without written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the Service
  • Deliberately overload, stress-test, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or other technical restrictions
  • Exploit vulnerabilities, bugs, or errors in the Service (report them to us instead)

4. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, submit, or generate content that:

  • Is illegal, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
  • Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains the personal information of others without their consent
  • Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities

5. Account Usage

  • Maintain only one account per person
  • Do not share your account credentials with others
  • Do not use the Service to operate a competing resume writing or career services business
  • Do not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its output without permission

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us at [email protected]. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including:

  • Issuing a warning
  • Temporarily suspending your account
  • Permanently terminating your account
  • Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
